Welcome to Surple.com!

Our main function is to help organize public events and friendly gatherings and meet-ups. Surple's "meet tracker" is a great solution if you need to get a good idea of how many heads to expect at your party.

We aim to make the system as simple and intuitive as we can. For attendees and friends, finding a meet and RSVPing is as easy as following a link and filling in your name! For organizers, setting up a customized event is quick and painless, and you get your own subdomain! (Oh yeah, and it's completely free.)

Right now we offer a few useful customization features such as limiting meets to a certain head count, wait lists or queues that will notify attendees who were too late to sign up if someone else dropped out and they got in, and other basic functionality. We are constantly experimenting and adding new features as this is an ongoing project.

(Although we plan on eventually allowing anybody to create an account at will, we're currently in a very small testing phase and do not want to expand too quickly, so for the time being we are moderating requests to create events.)
